The WAUKEGAN was built in 1912 by Great Lakes Towing Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Waukegan is a steel hulled tug with a length of 73 feet, and a width of 18 feet. It displaces 71 tons, and has a load capacity of 36 tons. It entered service in the year 1912 under the ownership of Dunham Towing & Wrecking Co. (Great Lakes Towing Co., Mgrs.) of Chicago, IL U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Dropped from Canadian List of Shipping in 1967; presumed scrapped.
