The G.L. 051 was built in 1924 by Great Lakes Engineering Works at Ashtabula, OH U.S. The G.L. 051 is a steel hulled scow with a length of 182 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 928 tons, and has a load capacity of 928 tons. It entered service in the year 1924 under the ownership of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co. of Chicago, IL U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped in 1967; removed from documentation in August, 1967.
