Description: The W.G. POLLOCK was built in 1906 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The W.G. Pollock is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 420 feet, and a width of 52 feet. It displaces 4872 tons, and has a load capacity of 3585 tons. It entered service in the year 1906 under the ownership of Valley Transit Co. (W.H. Becker, Mgr.) of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Arrived in tow at Genoa, Italy, November 19, 1964, for scrapping. The photograph shows the W.G.
