The PASCAL P. PRATT was built in 1888 by Thomas Quayle's Sons at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Pascal P. Pratt is a wood hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 272 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 1927 tons, and has a load capacity of 1642 tons. It entered service in the year 1888 under the ownership of James Ash(1/8); Frederick Pratt(1/8); Pascal Pratt(1/4); Frederick Danforth(1/2) of Buffalo, NY U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Burned and sank off Long Point, Lake Erie, November 16, 1908. Vessel grounded 1 1/2 miles WNW of Long Point, Buffalo for Milwaukee, then caught fire. Wreckers removed 600 tons of cargo and machinery by September, 1909. Final document surrendered at Cleveland, OH, November 18, 1908. The photograph shows the Pascal P. Pratt under way on the Great Lakes.
