Description: The PASADENA was built in 1889 by Ship Owner's Dry Dock Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Pasadena is a wood hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 250 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 1760 tons, and has a load capacity of 1468 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Struck breakwater at entrance to Portage Ship Canal, Lake Superior, October 8, 1906, seeking shelter while in tow of propeller GLADSTONE; 2 lives lost. Bound from Ashtabula, OH, for Superior, WI, with cargo of coal at time of loss. Final enrollment surrendered at Cleveland, OH, June 30, 1907.
