Description: The URANUS was built in 1873 by A. McLeod at New Jerusalem, OH U.S. The Uranus is a wood hulled barge with a length of 169 feet, and a width of 29 feet. It displaces 524 tons, and has a load capacity of 498 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Abandoned about 1929.
