dc.description The CRESCEUS was built in 1915 by Matthews Boat Co. at Port Clinton, OH U.S. The Cresceus is a wood hulled yacht with a length of 55 feet, and a width of 12 feet. It displaces 21 tons, and has a load capacity of 14 tons. It entered service in the year 1915 under the ownership of George H. Ketchum of Toledo, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Abandoned in 1965. The photograph shows the Cresceus under way on the Great Lakes.
