Description: The TYRONE was built in 1895 by Globe Iron Works at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Tyrone is a steel hulled barge with a length of 300 feet, and a width of 41 feet. It displaces 2117 tons, and has a load capacity of 1862 tons. It entered service in the year 1895 under the ownership of American Transportation Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped by Steel Co. of Canada, Ltd., at Hamilton, Ontario, in 1940.
