The R.B. HAYES was built in 1876 by John E. Monk at Sandusky, OH U.S. The R.B. Hayes is a wood hulled steamer with a length of 134 feet, and a width of 21 feet. It displaces 164 tons, and has a load capacity of 82 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Final enrollment surrendered at Sandusky, OH, in 1924 as abandoned.
