The MARQUETTE & BESSEMER NO. 2 was built in 1910 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Marquette & Bessemer No. 2 is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 338 feet, and a width of 56 feet. It displaces 2583 tons, and has a load capacity of 1516 tons. It entered service in the year 1910 under the ownership of Marquette & Bessemer Docks & Navigation Co. (NJ) of Conneaut, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped in Menominee, MI in 1997.
