Description: The LAKEBRIDGE was built in 1917 by Toledo Ship Building Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Lakebridge is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 252 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 1977 tons, and has a load capacity of 1193 tons. It entered service in the year 1917 under the ownership of U.S. Shipping Board of New York, NY U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Caught fire August 22, 1941, 37 miles from Sandheads (Calcutta), on voyage from Rangoon for Calcutta with timber.
