The HENRY COUNTY was built in 1919 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Henry County is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 251 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2592 tons, and has a load capacity of 1613 tons. It entered service in the year 1919 under the ownership of U.S. Shipping Bureau of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Broken up and scrapped in Brazil; August, 1962.
