Description: The CAMBRIA was built in 1887 by Globe Iron Works at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Cambria is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 280 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 1878 tons, and has a load capacity of 1377 tons. It entered service in the year 1887 under the ownership of Mutual Transportation Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Foundered off Sturgeon Bay, WI, Lake Michigan, on December 3, 1924, after spring leak; no lives lost.
