The CYCLONE was built in 1883 by Paul Lohmeyer at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Cyclone is a wood hulled steam yacht with a length of 96 feet, and a width of 20 feet. It displaces 69 tons, and has a load capacity of 45 tons. It entered service in the year 1883 under the ownership of Paul Lohmeyer (2/3) of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Final document surrendered at Grand Haven, MI, March 30, 1929, and endorsed "dismantled." The photograph shows the Cyclone under way on the Great Lakes.
