The ADRIATIC was built in 1907 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Adriatic is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 420 feet, and a width of 52 feet. It displaces 4945 tons, and has a load capacity of 3605 tons. It entered service in the year 1907 under the ownership of Lackawanna Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped at Ashtabula, OH, in winter 1962-1963.
