The PHILIP R. CLARKE was built in 1952 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Philip R. Clarke is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 629 feet, and a width of 70 feet. It displaces 11623 tons, and has a load capacity of 8690 tons.
