Description: The HAMP THOMAS was built in 1968 by Hans Hansen Welding Co., Inc. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Hamp Thomas is a steel hulled tug with a length of 42 feet, and a width of 13 feet. It displaces 22 tons, and has a load capacity of 15 tons. It entered service in the year 1968 under the ownership of Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. (NY) of Detroit, MI U.S. The photograph shows the Hamp Thomas under way on the Great Lakes. More information about this vessel is available at the HCGL Website
