Description: The JANIE E. SMITH was built in 1892 by W.G. McKinnon at Ashtabula, OH U.S. The Janie E. Smith is a wood hulled fish tug with a length of 64 feet, and a width of 15 feet. It displaces 24 tons, and has a load capacity of 12 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Abandoned in 1930. The photograph shows the Janie E.
