The WALTER Q. GRESHAM was built in 1896 by Globe Iron Works at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Walter Q. Gresham is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 205 feet, and a width of 32 feet. It entered service in the year 1896 under the ownership of U.S. Treasury Dept. of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped at Shemen Beach, just east of Haifa Harbour, in 1951.
