The R.W. HOLST was built in 1929 by Toledo Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The R.W. Holst is a sand dredge. It entered service under the ownership of White Brothers Sand, Inc. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Dismantled at Toledo in September, 1981. The photograph shows the R.W. Holst under way on the Great Lakes.
