The LAKE FILBERT was built in 1919 by Toledo Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Lake Filbert is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 251 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2451 tons, and has a load capacity of 1513 tons. It entered service in the year 1919 under the ownership of U.S. Shipping Board of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped at LaSpezia, Italy, in 1954.
