The JAMES H. MARTIN was built in 1869 by Quayle & Martin at Cleveland, OH U.S. The James H. Martin is a wood hulled tug with a length of 62 feet, and a width of 14 feet. It displaces 36 tons, and has a load capacity of 18 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Abandoned in 1918. The photograph shows the James H.
