| Description: | The MARTHA E. ALLEN was built in 1928 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Martha E. Allen is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 334 feet, and a width of 51 feet. It displaces 2935 tons, and has a load capacity of 1994 tons. It entered service in the year 1928 under the ownership of Lake Tankers Corp. of Chicago, IL U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Arrived at Ashtabula, OH, on August 21, 1975, for scrapping.
