The FLORIDA was built in 1926 by Great Lakes Towing Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Florida is a steel hulled tug with a length of 71 feet, and a width of 20 feet. It displaces 99 tons, and has a load capacity of 67 tons. It entered service in the year 1926 under the ownership of Great Lakes Towing Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The photograph shows the Florida at Detroit, MI; at the Tug Boat Race.
