The J.H. WADE was built in 1890 by Cleveland Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The J.H. Wade is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 265 feet, and a width of 38 feet. It displaces 1863 tons, and has a load capacity of 1502 tons. It entered service in the year 1890 under the ownership of William Chisholm of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped in 1925.
