The HENRY E. GILLEN was built in 1915 by Great Lakes Engineering Works at Ashtabula, OH U.S. The Henry E. Gillen is a steel hulled tug with a length of 75 feet, and a width of 20 feet. It displaces 96 tons, and has a load capacity of 49 tons. It entered service in the year 1915 under the ownership of Henry E. Gillen of Milwaukee, WI U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Removed from documentation in December, 1979, as scrapped. The photograph shows the Henry E.
