dc.description The OJIBWAY was built in 1946 by Great Lakes Engineering Works at Ashtabula, OH U.S. The Ojibway is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 60 feet, and a width of 22 feet. It displaces 53 tons, and has a load capacity of 25 tons. It entered service in the year 1946 under the ownership of Pittsburgh Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The photograph shows the Ojibway under way on the Great Lakes.
