Description: The J.L. WEATHERLEY was built in 1886 by Excelsior Iron Works at Cleveland, OH U.S. The J.L. Weatherley is an iron hulled fire tug. It displaces 66 tons. It entered service in the year 1886 under the ownership of City of Cleveland Fire Dept. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sank at dock, Montreal, P.Q., in 1968; raised and scrapped by United Metals, Ltd., at Hamilton, Ontario, in 1969.
