The PORTO RICO was built in 1899 by Craig Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Porto Rico is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 220 feet, and a width of 32 feet. It displaces 1257 tons, and has a load capacity of 854 tons. It entered service in the year 1899 under the ownership of Craig Shipbuilding Co. of Toledo, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Dropped from Lloyd's Registry in 1938; presumed scrapped.
