dc.description The PENDENNIS WHITE was built in 1906 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Pendennis White is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 416 feet, and a width of 50 feet. It displaces 4382 tons, and has a load capacity of 3205 tons. It entered service in the year 1906 under the ownership of Cleveland Steamship Co. (John Mitchell, Mgr.) of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped by Steel Co. of Canada, Ltd., at Hamilton, Ontario, in 1946. After lying at Erie, PA, 1945-1946, passed down, Port Colborne, June 14, 1946, in tow of tugs A.M. MCAULEY and DALHOUSIE ROVER, bound for Hamilton, Ontario.
