dc.description The BENEFACTOR was built in 1927 by Interlake Engineering Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Benefactor is a steel hulled tug with a length of 42 feet, and a width of 11 feet. It displaces 12 tons, and has a load capacity of 8 tons. It entered service in the year 1927 under the ownership of Interlake Engineering Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Last documented between 1982-1988.
