The RADIANT was built in 1913 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Radiant is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 250 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2487 tons, and has a load capacity of 1258 tons. It entered service in the year 1913 under the ownership of Standard Oil Co. of New York of New York, NY U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Arrived in tandem tow, with car ferry CITY OF GREEN BAY, at Castellon, Spain, August 1, 1974, for scrapping. Removed from documentation in July, 1974. The photograph shows the Radiant under way on the Great Lakes.
