dc.description The H.G. CLEVELAND was built in 1867 by William A. Jones at Black River, OH U.S. The H.G. Cleveland is a wood hulled schooner with 3 masts, a length of 137 feet, and a width of 25 feet. It displaces 264 tons, and has a load capacity of 251 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Foundered off Kelley's Island, August 23, 1899. The photograph shows the H.G. Cleveland at Towing into Kincardine, Ont.
