The AM-387 (TOUCAN) was built in 1944 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Am-387 (Toucan) is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 221 feet, and a width of 32 feet. It entered service in the year 1944 under the ownership of United States Navy of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Reportedly sunk by Red Chinese on August 6, 1965.
