Description: The WILLIAM S. MACK was built in 1901 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The William S. Mack is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 346 feet, and a width of 48 feet. It displaces 3720 tons, and has a load capacity of 2785 tons. It entered service in the year 1901 under the ownership of Lake Erie Transportation Co. (William S. Mack, Mgr.) of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Arrived at Toronto, Ont., May 4, 1963, after loading a cargo of scrap at Saginaw, MI.
