| Description: | The PF-020 (GULFPORT) was built in 1944 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Pf-020 (Gulfport) is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 285 feet, and a width of 37 feet. It entered service in the year 1944 under the ownership of U.S. Navy of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Decommissioned at Seattle, WA, on May 28, 1946. Stricken from Navy List on June 19, 1946. Sold to Zidell Ship Dismantling Co., on November 13, 1947 for scrapping. The photograph shows the Pf-020 (Gulfport) under way on the Great Lakes.
