The GEORGE M. HUMPHREY was built in 1954 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The George M. Humphrey is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 690 feet, and a width of 75 feet. It displaces 14034 tons, and has a load capacity of 10528 tons. It entered service in the year 1954 under the ownership of National Steel Corp. (M.A. Hanna Co., Mgrs.) of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped in 1986. The photograph shows the George M.
