Description: The REDONDO was built in 1902 by Craig Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Redondo is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 188 feet, and a width of 38 feet. It displaces 679 tons, and has a load capacity of 462 tons. It entered service in the year 1902 under the ownership of R.H. Swayne & John Hoyt of San Francisco, CA U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Foundered near Richmond, CA, in May, 1948; not removed from documentation until November, 1969.
