The PF-100 (RACINE) was built in 1945 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Pf-100 (Racine) is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 285 feet, and a width of 37 feet. It entered service in the year 1945 under the ownership of U.S. Navy of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Stricken from Navy List on July 19, 1946. Sold on December 2, 1947, to Franklin Shipwrecking Co., Hillside NJ, for scrapping. The photograph shows the Pf-100 (Racine) under way on the Great Lakes.
