The WILLIAM B. SCHILLER was built in 1909 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The William B. Schiller is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 580 feet, and a width of 58 feet. It displaces 7521 tons, and has a load capacity of 5819 tons. It entered service in the year 1909 under the ownership of Pittsburgh Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sold for scrapping at Duluth, MN, in 1978.
