The SANTA ISABEL was built in 1920 by Toledo Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Santa Isabel is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 251 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2647 tons, and has a load capacity of 1542 tons. It entered service in the year 1920 under the ownership of American & Cuban Steamship Line of New York, NY U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Torpedoed and sunk by German submarine in Gulf of Mexico, on June 3, 1942.
