The PF-099 (ORLANDO) was built in 1944 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Pf-099 (Orlando) is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 285 feet, and a width of 37 feet. It entered service in the year 1944 under the ownership of U.S. Navy of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Placed out of commission at Seattle, WA, on June 27, 1946. Stricken from Navy List on July 19, 1946; sold to Zidell Ship Dismantling Co., on November 10, 1947, for scrapping. The photograph shows the Pf-099 (Orlando) under way on the Great Lakes.
