The RELIEF was built in 1924 by Great Lakes Towing Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Relief is a steel hulled barge with a length of 160 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 513 tons, and has a load capacity of 513 tons. It entered service in the year 1924 under the ownership of Great Lakes Towing Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The photograph shows the Relief under way on the Great Lakes.
