Description: The PF-017 (KEY WEST) was built in 1944 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Pf-017 (Key West) is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 285 feet, and a width of 37 feet. It entered service in the year 1944 under the ownership of U.S. Navy of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Decommissioned at Bremerton, WA, on June 14, 1946. Sold on April 18, 1947, to Cascade Enterprises, Oakland, CA, for scrapping. The photograph shows the Pf-017 (Key West) at Lorain, OH.
