The BACCARAT was built in 1920 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Baccarat is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 251 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2283 tons, and has a load capacity of 1433 tons. It entered service in the year 1920 under the ownership of Independent Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Foundered off Muroran, Hokkaido, Japan, on January 5, 1961.
