Description: The UNION LIBERTY was built in 1919 by Toledo Ship Building Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Union Liberty is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 251 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2559 tons, and has a load capacity of 1586 tons. It entered service in the year 1919 under the ownership of U.S. Shipping Board of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Reported to have fallen into Communist Chinese hands; dropped from Lloyds in 1955.
