The ERIE was built in 1888 by John E. Monk at Sandusky, OH U.S. The Erie is a wood hulled fish tug with a length of 56 feet, and a width of 14 feet. It displaces 21 tons, and has a load capacity of 10 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Abandoned in March/April, 1969.
