Description: The LAKE LILLIAN was built in 1917 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Lake Lillian is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 251 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2020 tons, and has a load capacity of 1247 tons. It entered service in the year 1917 under the ownership of U.S. Shipping Board of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sunk at Shanghai, China, December 8, 1941, during Japanese invasion.
