The GARDEN STATE was built in 1956 by Hans Henson Welding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Garden State is a tug with a length of 42 feet, and a width of 12 feet. It displaces 19 tons, and has a load capacity of 13 tons. It entered service in the year 1965 under the ownership of Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co. of Duluth, MN U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped in 1979.
