Description: The B.F. AFFLECK was built in 1927 by Toledo Ship Building Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The B.F. Affleck is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 587 feet, and a width of 60 feet. It displaces 7964 tons, and has a load capacity of 6345 tons. It entered service in the year 1927 under the ownership of Pittsburg Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sold to Hyman-Michaels Co. of Duluth on July 1, 1984 for scrapping.
